FAQ’s
How long do you take photographs ?
I take photos from the preparations right up until you are seated for your meal, and longer if required. Usually its best to arrive at the grooms house first, to get some casual shots of the guys as well as some fun shots and to capture the excitement and anticipation of the day ahead. Then its on to the bride’s house to capture shots of her preparations, the dress, the flowers, the shoes, the friends, bridesmaids, parents and everything else that goes with the mornings events.
How many Images do we get?
Shooting digitally there is really no limit to the number of shots I can take, but do you really want to see them all? I will take several shots of each group for instance just to make sure I have no ‘blinkers’. So what I’m trying to say is that you will get plenty of photos of your day, usually I narrow it down to between 200-300 or so. But each wedding is unique and the number of photos you see varies from wedding to wedding. It also depends on the size of the wedding and if you would like an extra photographer, there would obviously be more photos to view.
Can we get images in black and white or sepia?
Absolutely! That’s the beauty of shooting digital.Although everything is shot in colour it can be processed to black and white or sepia.I usually select some shots from the day that I think will suit black and white or sepia and process them accordingly. If you would like a particular image in black and white or sepia or some other effect, just ask. Do you airbrush images? All images are colour corrected and processed to the highest standard. Certain images are ‘airbrushed’ for artistic effect, there is usually some basic retouching according to taste.
What coverage do we need?
Again, it is entirely up to you, what way do you want to record you wedding day memories for prosperity. Something to consider is that images on discs tend to stay on disc in a drawer somewhere to be lost or damaged. Albums on the other had being more substantial and in my opinion are the best way to keep and show photos. There are many different types, styles and sizes of album and I can tailor any package to suit your needs, requirements and budget.

No, and let me explain why. Because I shoot digitally I can take 100′s and 100′s of photos of your day. A lot of these photos are ‘insurance shots’ for instance group shots are the perfect example of where I will take many photos of the same shot so that I don’t get any blinkers. I use my experience and judgment to present you with only the best images from your day.
